Did a lot today, actually.
Mah & I took Son to the MOSH. It was a very short visit, unfortunately, but we did get into the morning Science Show. The topic was electricity - always electrifying! Son got in on a group static electricity experiment, but I should have held him back. I know that he *hates* it when he gets zapped, and that's exactly what happened: the kids all held hands and all got zapped. He burst into tears and dramatic crying. He came back to the seat and got hugs. As we left he said, "I'll never volunteer for anything again!" D'awwwww...
We had lunch at Five Guys, accompanied Mah to her dermatologist, then home. I managed to get the stacking bookshelves unloaded, moved, set up and reloaded. After Son went to bed, Hubby helped put up the tension canister lights and my table. Then we both went through a couple of boxes that had been sitting in the craft room since we moved in. A really good night!
All three of us watched LEGO Star Wars: The Padawan Menace. Too funny!! "Vader, you're not in this scene!" "Sorry, George..."
LOTS of stuff tomorrow. A credit union trip, library, Peterbrooks (I won some chocolate covered strawberries! woot!), back home then we're all getting haircuts (either Sat or Sun). Whew! Hubby has to mow at some point. Hopefully I'll get the craft room moved and the playroom set up before we head out to Orlando for a long weekend on Thursday. Son has art camp, so Mah is staying here with him. Yay for grandparents! (sings) "Everybody needs a little time away..."
The boy's great-grandfather would be proud of him. (For those who do not know) Great-grandpa was a U.S. Navy officer in World War II, and his advice to us children was, "Keep your bowels open, your mouth shut, and don't volunteer for anything!"
