First day of school! First day of school!

My motto today was, "1 part boo-hoo, 3 parts YAHOO!"

This morning, Son said he was soooo nervous. Would I help out? What if the kids don't like him? What if the teacher isn't nice? How he'd "never work my way up to college, because it's so scary"! LOL

When I picked him up, I asked how his day went and he was all smiles and said, "Grrreat!" Amazing how that happens. :D

I finished a nice tote bag. It's supposed to be muted colors, but since I didn't have those on hand, I went for more bold ones. The handle was a real pain in the rear, but I like how the whole thing turned out. It's lined with unworked plastic canvas inside, and I like that too.

Banana bread is now in the oven - must go check on it!
